CR - Boosting Achievement: Reaching Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Schooling (Overview)
Zoom CRAEA March 27, 2025

Based on current research surrounding educational growth mindset, this training demonstrates user-friendly techniques that close achievement gaps for Multilingual Unschooled or Underschooled Learners. Learn to empower these students to work at grade-level in content classes and the EL classroom and help students persist to graduation.

Elise White Diaz from Seidlitz Education will be facilitating the workshop.

Participants will each receive a copy of the book, ‘Boosting Achievement: Reaching Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Schooling’ by Carol Salva to have available and be utilized during the workshop. (Books will be van mailed to registered participants to the school location designated in their registration account.)

The Title III consortium is covering the costs (presenter and book) for all registered consortium members. (This excludes Marshalltown and Waterloo, as they are their own subgrantees.)

A zoom link to attend the session will be sent out prior to the training (to the email that participant’s registered).
