CR - SDI Foundations

In this course participants will experience an overview of the SDI (Specially Designed Instruction) Framework. The information, practices and guiding principles are applicable for all grade levels and content areas in Iowa''s public schools. This overview is a requirement for those who will continue professional learning in the SDI focused PD. (Preschool, K-6 Literacy, and Significant Disabilities) 

This opportunity provides participants with information and time for discussing the eight SDI Guiding Principles, SDI within our MTSS, and critical features of "Diagnose, Design, and Deliver" within the intervention process. The SDI Framework is a tool used to guide best practices for special education across Iowa. 

This course is offered as a half-day Zoom session for all new CRAEA staff, other CRAEA staff are welcome.
