CR - Level 1: Bringing Masonry into the Industrial Tech Classroom (LR)
Marshalltown CRAEA July 21 2025

The Masonry Institute of Iowa and the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 3 have partnered to offer post-secondary industrial technology professionals an opportunity for a hands-on educational learning experience in masonry. Included in the two-day course will be hands-on instruction – with the intent to teach proper bricklaying methods that instructors can pass along to their students. This course will include a masonry curriculum for teachers to implement on how to teach a masonry unit in the classroom. Curriculum materials such as instruction videos, tests, evaluations worksheets and classroom set-up will be provided.
